Kelly Palmer is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in development and marketing within educational and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as the Senior Regional Director for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast since May 2019, Kelly previously held roles as a Regional Director in the same organization, Director of Marketing and Development at IMAG History & Science Center, and Director of Development/Associate General Manager at Boise State Public Radio. Additionally, Kelly held positions at Albertsons Library, Boise State University-College of Social Sciences and Public Affairs, and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where significant fundraising efforts exceeded $3 million. Kelly's expertise encompasses relationship building, strategic communication, and aligning institutional needs with donor passions. An educational background includes graduate coursework in Technological Entrepreneurship from RPI Lally School of Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Management from RPI.

For over 50 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast has been matching youth in meaningful, enduring, professionally supported mentoring relationships with adult volunteers who defend their potential and help them achieve their biggest possible futures. Big Brothers Big Sisters’ evidence-based approach is designed to create positive youth outcomes, including educational success, avoidance of risky behaviors, higher aspirations, greater confidence, and improved relationships. This past year, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast has served over 1,800 youth across a 10 county footprint.
