Adaku Ann Akogu, MaBE, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in project management and business development across various organizations. Currently serving as a Development Officer and previously as a Development Coordinator at Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver, Adaku has also held roles as a Supervisor at Fed, Project Manager at AgriCOOPh Federation, and Senior Technical Associate at the REID Foundation. With a strong educational background that includes a Graduate Diploma in Urban Studies from Simon Fraser University and a Master's degree in Applied Business Economics from the University of Asia and the Pacific, Adaku has successfully led initiatives focusing on digitization for farmers, business development for cooperatives, and inter-agency coordination for infrastructure projects in the Philippines.

Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver is a registered charity and community-based organization. We offer friendship-based mentoring programs for children and youth across Greater Vancouver and provide volunteer opportunities for all genders. We currently serve the following areas: Vancouver, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Richmond, Delta, New Westminster, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Surrey, White Rock, and Tsawwassen.
