Big Country Equipment Repair Ltd. is a proudly and privately owned, Kamloops B.C.-based family-operated company that started business in 2017, now with a workforce of 100+ employees. Our primary focuses are, exceptional quality of service and customer satisfaction, top-tier workplace safety, employee satisfaction/ pride, and family. We are a proud provider of products and services to support heavy equipment maintenance and repair for the mining, forestry, construction, and oil and gas industries. We provide a suite of products and services to support customers and their needs, these include at our core, supplying highly skilled tradespeople, which include, heavy-duty mechanics, welders, machinists as well as, maintenance planners, supervisors, and project managers. We have recently expanded our products & services to provide creative and complementary solutions to reduce equipment operational costs, and downtimes well as improve operational performance. Each one of our employees has been hand-picked through a careful screening process, is safety-minded, and focused on quality of work. Many of our trades and professional services employees have both mining industry and equipment dealership training and experience and take the utmost pride in their work. Our team is knowledgeable and experienced on all equipment, from support equipment (dozers, graders, and excavators) to prime loading hydraulic and cable shovels as well as underground machines.
