James (Jim) Sholtis

James (Jim) Sholtis has worked in various roles in the corporate world since 1986. James (Jim) began their career as a Group Engineering Manager at Rohr, Inc. before moving on to Menasco Aerospace in 1998 as Director of Manufacturing Engineering and Lean Enterprise. In 1999, they were hired by Lockheed Martin as Manager of Lean Initiatives and B/E Aerospace as Director of Operations and Lean Enterprise. Jim then joined Simpler Consulting as a Senior Consultant and Sensei in 2001, where they helped major clients save more than $10,000,000 in just two years. In 2003, they were asked to join Char-Broil as Vice President of Global Operations. During their time there, they were promoted to executive roles in Continuous Improvement, New Product Development and Global Operations and helped steer the organization through different phases in its evolution. In 2016, Jim returned to Simpler Consulting, an IBM Company, as a Senior Consultant and Sensei, where they taught and implemented a systematic approach to Lean Transformation. In 2017, they were hired by Monster Moto as Chief Operating Officer, responsible for all global operations and strategic and tactical performance improvement. Jim then joined Universal Companies in 2019 as Chief Operating Officer before taking on the role of COO/Integrator at BIG DOT OF HAPPINESS LLC in 2021.

James (Jim) Sholtis began their educational journey in 1982 at Illinois Central College, where they earned an Associate of Science in Mechanical Design Technology. James (Jim) then continued their studies at Bradley University, graduating in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering with an emphasis on Mechanical Design Technology.
