Rich Sawel

Rich Sawel is an accomplished professional in the gaming industry, currently serving as Senior Director of Publishing at Big Fish Games since July 2023, where efforts focus on building a new publishing organization for mobile games. Previously, Rich held the position of Vice President of Games at ForeVR Games, overseeing the development of virtual reality games, including roles as Executive Producer and Game Director for notable titles. Rich's extensive experience includes leading operations at Amazon Game Studios, where responsibilities included managing Prime Gaming Engineering, and excelling as a Product Leader and Executive Producer at Glu Mobile and Zynga, contributing to significant revenue-generating projects. Rich co-founded Orbital Games, LLC, dedicated to creating mobile free-to-play games, and has a strong background in project management and development from early roles at Electronic Arts, Norpac Controls, and the Canadian Armed Forces as a pilot. Rich holds an MBA in Digital Technologies Management from Royal Roads University.
