Mike Malan

Mike Malan is a seasoned finance executive currently serving as Head of Finance at Big Green Egg since May 2025. Previous experience includes roles in finance and strategy at Legends, and as Chief Financial Officer at Scrap Metal Services, LLC., where Mike successfully completed over $40 million in debt refinancing. With a background as a consultant providing CFO and COO services to founder-led private companies, Mike also served as Vice President of M&A at Evercore, advising on significant transactions in the sports sector. Educational credentials include an MBA in Accounting, Finance, and Entrepreneurship from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Behavior and Management from Brown University. Prior to a financial career, Mike played as a running back for the New England Patriots and the St. Louis Rams.
