Scott Jacobi has a rich work experience in the software engineering field. Scott started their career as a Software Engineer at Ubisoft in 1999 and worked there until 2000. Scott then moved on to The 3DO Company and Pacific Coast Power & Light (THQ) before joining Firaxis Games in 2003. After that, they worked at Roadnet Technologies Inc. from 2004 to 2014 as a Software Engineer, where they led the development of the truck loading module. In 2014, Scott joined PayPal as a Software Engineer and played a key role in developing new mid-tier restful services. In 2015, they started working at Big Huge Games as a Software Engineer and eventually became the Director of Technology in 2021. In this role, they are responsible for managing and growing the engineering team, prioritizing tasks, and overseeing the development of new projects. Scott's expertise lies in full stack development, server-side security, and game feature logic.

Scott Jacobi attended Poly Prep from 1989 to 1993, where they completed their high school education. From 1993 to 1997, they studied at the University of Pennsylvania, earning a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Scott then attended the Digipen School of Applied Science from 1997 to 1999, where they obtained a certificate in Video Games and Computer Simulations.
