Michael Demar has a diverse work experience in the food industry. Michael started their career as a Corporate Food and Beverage Manager at The Down Town Club and Union Gourmet Market and Cafe, followed by a role as Director of Purchasing at Marathon Grill. Michael then served as Chef Manager at Brock & Company and later started their own catering businesses, Casual Catering and Kitchen Sink Caterers, where they specialized in providing high-quality catering services. Michael also worked at Summit Food Marketing, Inc. as a Business Development professional, focusing on volume growth and executing marketing programs. Michael then joined The Kraft Heinz Company, where they held roles as a Territory Business Manager and Eastern Zone Sales Manager, managing sales and brokers for various foodservice brands. Most recently, they have been working as the East Region Sales and Broker Manager, Polly-O at BelGioioso Cheese, Inc. and currently holds the position of Director of Food Service Sales at Big Mozz, where they are dedicated to creating the best party food made from high-quality ingredients.
Michael Demar obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management from the University of Phoenix from 2006 to 2011. Prior to that, they pursued an Associates Degree in Culinary Arts, Specialized Science from Bucks County Community College, completing it between 2000 and 2002.

Big Mozz is a Brooklyn-based food startup. We launched in Brooklyn in 2015 at Smorgasburg, one of the largest outdoor food markets in the world. Serving dishes based around fresh mozzarella made on-site, we have grown into a mobile catering and market-focused business, with fast-growing retail and wholesale operations. Our main product is our famous, hand-made Mozz Sticks. You can now find us at Citi Field, Smorgasburg, and music festivals and concert venues all over the country.
