Aldo Sarmiento is the Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Big Purple Dot, where responsibilities include overseeing the development of CRM and Recruiting Intelligence software that supports tens of thousands of users and manages extensive loan transaction opportunities. Sarmiento has architected a high-availability private cloud infrastructure and has extensive experience in software development using Ruby on Rails, MySQL, and other technologies. Prior to founding Big Purple Dot, Sarmiento worked as a Software Engineer at RealPractice and as a Programmer/Analyst at the University of California, Irvine. Sarmiento holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Minor in Computer Science from UC Irvine.
