Brandon Wirth has held various roles in the sports and media industries since 2014. In 2019, they began working as a Game Operations/Communications Intern at Ferris State Athletics, where they provided play-by-play and color commentary for Ferris State volleyball, hockey, and soccer games, managed audio production for Ferris State Football, Hockey, and Basketball games, and helped coordinate in-game promotions and performances. Brandon also became Co-Founder and Co-Host for “The MVSP” (The Most Valuable Sports Podcast), where they served as lead producer and audio engineer, and assisted with marketing, communications, and public relations. In 2020, they became the Social Media Coordinator for Sports Careers RSO, where they organized and created marketing plans for social media advertising, coordinated a team of media members to promote fundraising events, and made flyers and posts for club events and awareness. In 2021, they took on the role of Sports Writer & Reporter at Ferris State Torch, where they reported and wrote original content on Ferris State Athletics, covered the beat for 2021 & 2022 DII National Champion Ferris State Football, and assisted with podcast production and maintenance. In 2022, they became a News & Sports Correspondent at Big Rapids Radio Network, where they served as a media and radio correspondent for local sports and news, provided play-by-play broadcasting for high school football, basketball, and soccer, and wrote articles and produced afternoon newscasts for NewsRadio WBRN (107). Finally, in 2014, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at G.T. Norman Elementary, where they provided input and helped lead certain learning experiences both on and off campus, and facilitated and supervised for indoor, outdoor, and field trip activities.

Brandon Wirth has an education history that includes a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Sports Communication from Ferris State University, which they are currently attending and is expected to graduate from in 2023. Prior to this, they obtained a diploma from Reed City High School in 2019. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from Twitter, Semrush, and the American Red Cross. These include the Twitter Flight School Video Badge in November 2022, the Semrush SEO Crash Course with Brian Dean in November 2022, and Lifeguarding with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid from the American Red Cross in May 2021.
