Mark Orvis has extensive experience in the steel industry, currently serving as the Director of Quality and Technical Service at Big River Steel since October 2014. Prior roles at Big River Steel included Manager of Technical Service and Manager of Inside Sales - Outside Processing - Secondary Sales. Before joining Big River Steel, Mark Orvis held positions at Severstal NA from May 2007 to September 2014, progressing from Technical Resources Specialist to Manager of Technical Resources and Operations Supervisor in the Hot Rolling Mill. Early in the career, Mark Orvis worked as a Furnace Operator at Paulo Products from August 2002 to May 2007.
