Joel Konya

Joel Konya is an experienced broadcaster and voiceover actor with a career spanning several decades. Currently serving as a Play-by-Play Announcer at Big State Sports since September 2022, Joel also operates Joel Konya Voiceover, providing commercial, narrative, and promotional voiceovers from a home studio. Previous roles include broadcasting for the NJ Cardinals Radio Network from 1997 to 2005 and announcing on WNNJ FM/AM, where Joel hosted SportsRap and covered high school football. Additional experience includes reporting for RNN and serving as an on-camera sports reporter for NewSport Journal. Joel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Rowan University, earned in 1990.
