Allen E Jones

Allen E Jones has extensive experience across various roles in sports officiating, security, and law enforcement. Currently serving as a Red Hat Official for the Big Ten Conference since August 2022, Allen facilitates communication and operations during football games. As a Network Administrator at Quality Network Solutions and an Umpire/Referee for the Illinois High School Association, Allen holds licenses to officiate both football and baseball at multiple levels, including NCAA. Previous positions include Security Professional for the University of Illinois, Assistant Baseball Coach at Rantoul Township High School, and Chief Deputy at the Champaign County Sheriff's Office. Allen also has a background as a Scoutmaster with the Boy Scouts of America and served as a Computer Forensic Examiner for the Illinois Attorney General's Office. Allen E Jones is a graduate of Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice/Police Science and has completed a Graduate Certificate in Organizational Leadership from the FBI National Academy.
