Travis Legrande

Travis LeGrande is an experienced Operations Technical Specialist and Lead Process Engineer at Big West Oil, LLC, with a career spanning over a decade in the refining industry. Travis has a strong focus on identifying opportunities and developing solutions to maximize unit on-stream time and optimize unit economics in a safe and environmentally responsible manner. Since January 2019, responsibilities have included the FCC and HF Alky units, and prior experience includes working on the Naphtha Hydrotreater, CCR, and Par Isom units. Prior to this role, Travis held positions as Process Engineer I, Project Engineer, and Intern Project Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed engineering design, project management, and training. Educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Utah and an Associate's Degree in Chemistry from Salt Lake Community College. Additionally, experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Utah and as Head Welder/Shop Foreman at Mountain States Fence further enhances Travis's technical and leadership capabilities.
