Mia Dor Schiller

Mia Dor Schiller has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and research. Mia started their career as a Signal Intelligence Analyst at IDF in March 2014, where they gained extensive experience in signal analysis and processing. Mia also conducted in-depth research and analysis on various subjects and wrote technological research reports. In July 2016, they were promoted to the role of Data Analysis Team Leader, where they led a team of 6 analysts, managed technological research projects, and wrote and reviewed research reports.

In 2018, Mia joined Bigabid as a Data Scientist, and later they were appointed as a Senior Data Scientist and Research Architect in July 2019. Mia contributed significantly to the development of Bigabid's Core ML capabilities and led research projects. Recently, in October 2021, they were promoted to the position of Head of Core ML and Research Architect. Their responsibilities in this role include overseeing the use of Core ML in the company's products and driving research initiatives.

Mia Dor Schiller attended Handasaim High School from 2010 to 2013, where they studied Physics, Chemistry, and Engineering Sciences. Mia also has several certifications in various fields, including Divide and Conquer, Sorting and Searching, and Randomized Algorithms, obtained from Coursera in November 2022. In October 2021, they completed a certification in Game Theory from Coursera. In September 2020, they obtained certifications in AI for Medical Treatment, AI for Medical Prognosis, and AI for Medicine, all from Coursera. In August 2020, they completed the certification in AI for Medical Diagnosis from Coursera. Prior to this, in July 2020, they obtained certifications in Natural Language Processing with Classification and Vector Spaces and Sentiment Analysis with Deep Learning using BERT, both from Coursera. In May 2020, they completed the certification in Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency Technologies, also from Coursera. Furthermore, they have certifications from 2019, including Fitting Statistical Models to Data with Python, Fundamentals of Reinforcement Learning, and Inferential Statistical Analysis with Python, all from Coursera. In August 2019, they obtained the certification in Recommender Systems and Deep Learning in Python from Udemy. In July 2019, they completed the Deep Learning Specialization certification from Coursera. Additionally, in July 2019, they obtained the certification in Introduction to TensorFlow for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning from Coursera. Mia also completed the certifications in Sequence Models and Convolutional Neural Networks in July and June 2019, respectively, both from Coursera. Prior to this, in April 2019, they obtained the certifications in Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization and Structuring Machine Learning Projects, both from Coursera. Lastly, in March 2019, they completed the certification in Neural Networks and Deep Learning, also from Coursera.
