Tomer Shmul

Tomer Shmul is a seasoned professional in the field of artificial intelligence and computer vision, currently serving as the Deep Learning Team Lead at Bigabid since September 2025. Prior to this role, Tomer held positions as an AI Researcher at Clarity and Algorithms Lead at Shielda, where significant contributions included developing unsupervised AI solutions for threat detection and integrating advanced AI tools. With a strong background in algorithm development, Tomer led a team of algorithm developers at Nanit, focusing on innovative projects like motor anomaly detection, and possesses extensive experience in deep learning-based computer vision from previous roles at Kitov.ai and Mellanox Technologies. Tomer holds a Master of Science in Computer Vision from Tel Aviv University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
