Michael Vilarello

Michael Vilarello is currently the Philanthropy Officer at Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean Sciences. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Development at Hazon from May 2019 to June 2020.

Before their time at Hazon, Vilarello was the Major Gifts Officer at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum from September 2015 to August 2016. Michael then went on to be the Director at UJA-Federation of New York from August 2016 to April 2019.

Vilarello started their career as a Major Gift Officer, Capital Gifts and Special Initiatives at UJA-Federation of New York in July 2008, a position they held until August 2015. Michael was also the coordinator and facilitator for the organization's anti-bias education program.

From August 2005 to December 2007, Vilarello worked as an Assistant Project Manager at the Anti-Defamation League. In this role, they coordinated and facilitated the organization's anti-bias education program.

Michael Vilarello earned their BA in Political Science and Economics from Middlebury College.
