Deon Alers is an accomplished legal and risk management professional with a robust background in regulatory compliance and safety management. With a tenure at Bigen Africa that began in April 2014, Deon has held various key roles, including Chief Risk Officer, Legal Advisor (Principal), and Risk Manager. Prior to this, Deon served as SHEQ Manager at Nasera Drill & Blast from June 2013 to March 2014, and as Compliance Coordinator at Bigen Africa Services from March 2010 to May 2013. Deon holds two degrees from the University of Pretoria, a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Commerce, both completed between 2005 and 2011.
