Mias van der Walt is currently the Managing Director and Divisional Managing Principal at Bigen Africa since 2011. Mias previously worked as the GM Water Services at Magalies Water from 1995 to 2007, and as a Process Engineer at Rand Water from 1989 to 1995. Mias holds a D Eng in Civil Engineering from the University of Johannesburg, a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from North-West University, and a B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering from North-West University. Mias van der Walt completed their secondary education at Potchefstroom Gimnasium from 1980 to 1984.
