Senior Onboarding Analyst at BigPay

Pauline Ting has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Pauline is currently working as a Senior Onboarding Analyst at BigPay | Challenge Banking since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a KYC Manager at BC Invest from August 2021 to February 2022, where they enhanced onboarding policies and procedures for products and launches in the region. Pauline also conducted identity verification and screening using internal and external sources to ensure compliance with AML/CFT regulations.

In their previous role as a Compliance and Government Relations Specialist at Grab from February 2020 to May 2021, Pauline used data and technology to improve transportation and payments across Southeast Asia. Pauline worked with governments, drivers, passengers, and the community to solve regional problems.

Before joining Grab, Pauline worked at Citi as an AML/KYC Client Onboarding Analyst from April 2017 to February 2020. Pauline was involved in a remediation project, developed new processes and policies, and analyzed information for regulatory filings and audits.

Pauline Ting gained experience in marketing and social media as a CanLaw Apprentice at CanLaw in 2017 and also interned at ZICO Law as a Summer Intern in 2015. Pauline developed targeted SEO strategies and coordinated various legal matters during their internships.

Furthermore, Pauline interned at Tandemic as a Business Development Intern in 2015, where they developed a business plan and increased brand awareness on social media. Pauline also served as a Malaysia Representative at KPUM from August 2014 to July 2015. Before that, they interned at the Malaysian Centre for Constitutionalism and Human Rights (MCCHR) in 2014, where they planned and executed an outreach program.

In 2013, Pauline was an Attachment Student at Raja, Darryl & Loh. Overall, their work experience showcases their diverse skills and experiences in compliance, onboarding, marketing, and advocacy.

Pauline Ting completed a Data Analytics Bootcamp at General Assembly in 2021. Pauline holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) (Honours) degree from the University of London, which they pursued from 2012 to 2016. Prior to their university education, they completed their Pre-University studies at Taylor's College from 2010 to 2011. Pauline completed their high school education at Tung Hua Secondary School from 2005 to 2009.
