Dr. Philip Krejov has held a variety of roles in their career. Dr. Philip is currently the Head of Stealth Projects at Bigscreen VR. Prior to this, they worked at Intel Corporation from 2017 to 2020. At Intel Corporation, they were a Software Architect at Intel Studios, where they led product-oriented R&D in computer vision focused on volumetric reconstruction and revised the Extrinsic/Intrinsic/Photometric calibration of 100 8K cameras. Dr. Philip was also a Software Engineer at Intel RealSense, where they wrote a white paper on streaming depth over ethernet and identified Photo3D opportunity and project lead the software development from prototype to public release. Dr. Philip also machine learning trained deep learning models for the understanding of humans. From 2011 to 2017, they worked at the University of Surrey, where they were a Research Scientist for Gestures in Television and Sign Language Recognition. Dr. Philip also completed their PhD in Hand Pose Estimation for Virtual Reality, where they developed high performance real-time C++ code for hand tracking and computer vision, and taught and tuited C and C++ undergraduate students. Prior to this, they worked at National Instruments from 2009 to 2011, where they presented their work at a NI UK Press Conference held at The Royal Society, London, and designed and proposed several projects to European managers of National Instruments. Dr. Philip also developed several projects including a Wii Remote Automated Unit Test system that is exhibited country wide.
Dr. Philip Krejov completed their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Computer Science from the University of Surrey in 2016. Dr. Philip previously obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Computer Science from the same university in 2011. Before that, they completed an IMIAL Technical Certificate in Vehicle Fitting from the Dumfries and Galloway Collage in 2006.
