Amarjeet Raushan currently serves as a Young Professional in the Livestock Special Project Management Unit at the Bihar Rural Livelihoods Promotion Society (JEEViKA) since October 2022, having previously held the role of Young Professional - District Thematic Lead (Livestock). Prior experience includes serving as an Assistant Manager for Raw Material at BILT GRAPHIC PAPER PRODUCTS LIMITED and a Project Intern at the Institute of Livelihood Research and Training. Additionally, Amarjeet completed a research internship at the Wildlife Trust of India. Educational qualifications encompass a Post-Graduate Diploma in Forest Management with a focus on Development Management from the Indian Institute of Forest Management, complemented by a One Year Diploma in Microfinance and Entrepreneurship from the Institute of Management Studies, Banaras Hindu University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Banaras Hindu University. Early education was completed at Sainik School Tilaiya, with an emphasis on PCM subjects.

Bihar Rural Livelihoods Promotion Society, (BRLPS) an autonomous body under the Department of Finance, Govt. of Bihar has been designated as State Rural Livelihoods Mission by the Department of Rural Development, Govt. of Bihar under overall Framework of National Rural Livelihoods Mission to scale up the JEEViKA model of poverty alleviation through-out the state of Bihar in a phased manner.
