Deniz Hikmet

Deniz Hikmet is an emerging professional in the medical field, currently serving as a Sponsorship Scout at Artsen zonder Grenzen (Médecins Sans Frontières, Nederland) and a Tutor at Bijles Aan Huis. Deniz has been an active member of the Medische Faculteitsvereniging VU Amsterdam since September 2020, contributing as a chair of the culture committee, a member of the theatre committee, and a member of the medical faculty band. Volunteer work includes roles with Make-A-Wish Nederland and Archipel Zorggroep, focusing on granting wishes and elderly care, respectively. Previous positions include board member of the student organization for gynaecology, obstetrics, and pediatrics, and various internships in medical settings. Deniz earned a Bachelor's degree in Medicine from VUmc School of Medical Sciences, following a VWO Gymnasium diploma from Lorentz Casimir Lyceum.
