Wesley Veen

Wesley Veen is currently serving as Controleleider Audit at Van der Meer Accountants & Adviseurs and has held the position of Raadslid at Gemeente Weststellingwerf since March 2022. Active in D66 since April 2018, Wesley has held various roles including Fractielid and Campagne Coördinator for GR2022 in Weststellingwerf, as well as serving on the Kascommissie for D66 Zuidoost Friesland. Additional experience includes support for the treasurer and membership in the sponsor committee at VV De Blesse, and ownership of Studio Momentum. Previous roles include RPAS Operator/Project Manager at Pilot On Demand and Senior Staff at Deloitte Nederland, where responsibilities encompassed risk identification and compliance assessment of financial statements. Wesley holds multiple degrees from the University of Groningen, culminating in an Executive Master in Accountancy, and completed secondary education at Linde College Wolvega with a focus on Economics and Society.
