Helge Fahrnberger

Helge Fahrnberger is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor with extensive experience in the tech and travel industries. As the Managing Director and Owner of Maptoolkit since December 2008, and Kulemba GmbH - CityMaps2Go since August 2020, Fahrnberger has developed innovative offline mapping solutions for travelers. Co-founding Bikemap in January 2015 and contributing to MapLibre since March 2022 highlight a commitment to enhancing outdoor navigation. As an Angel Investor in tubics and ContextSDK, Fahrnberger supports emerging tech ventures. Previous roles include a lecturer at FHWien der WKW and the University of Vienna, and co-founding Tourbook Software GmbH, which achieved a successful exit in 2013. Fahrnberger began a professional journey as a Product Development Consultant from 2003 to 2008. Education was completed at WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business).
