Karen Tucker has had a long and varied career in design. Karen began their career in 2000 as a Graphic Designer for First American Title. In 2001, they moved to White Light Publications as a Senior Production Designer. In 2006, they became an Art Director for Rainier Title, before moving to Bag Borrow or Steal as a Senior Web Designer in 2007. In 2011, they held three positions: Director of Platform Design for Pure Home, Interactive Designer for VML, and E-Commerce Designer for Eddie Bauer. Finally, in 2014, they joined The Garrigan Lyman Group as an Art Director, Senior Designer, and UI Designer - Freelance. In 2022, they became the Lead Designer for Bilberrry.

Karen Tucker attended the University of Guam from 1994 to 1998 and earned a Fine Arts degree in Art. From 1998 to 2000, they attended Highline College and obtained a Production Illustration degree in Graphic Design. In 2006 and 2007, they attended the School of Visual Concepts but did not obtain a degree. No additional certifications were listed.
