Atalay Deveci

Atalay Deveci is an accomplished data scientist and educator with a robust background in various aspects of data science and machine learning. Currently serving as the Founding Data Scientist and Chief AI Officer at Grow Your Boat since July 2023, Atalay has made significant contributions by fixing multi-channel attribution and establishing a statistical framework for marketing channel analysis. Concurrently, Atalay is a Data Science Instructor at BilgeAdam Teknoloji, imparting knowledge of Python and data science to diverse audiences. Previous roles include Co-Founder and Head of AI at Seer AI, where development of machine learning algorithms for tabular datasets was a key focus, and a position on the Scientific Advisory Board at Gotya Technologies Limited. Atalay also has experience as a Computer Vision and Deep Learning Engineer at Ordulu Bilgi Teknolojileri A.Ş, and as a Machine Learning Engineer at Biokido Medical Engineering, working on innovative solutions in data analysis, computer vision, and robotics. Educationally, Atalay holds a Master's degree in Physics and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Middle East Technical University, completed between 2012 and 2021.
