Jake Mossawir

Jake Mossawir has an extensive work experience spanning over several years. Jake currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Bilingual Education Institute since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked at AT&T as part of the Strategy & Policy team from January 2022 to May 2023. Jake also served as the Chief Executive Officer of St. HOPE, a social enterprise focused on revitalizing the Oak Park neighborhood of Sacramento through education and economic development, from September 2015 to August 2021. Before that, they were the Executive Director of City Year from October 2012 to September 2015. Jake has also held positions as Communications Director at Moroch from 2007 to 2012, Account Manager at Randle Communications from May 2006 to November 2007, and in the Constituent Affairs division of the Office of the Governor of the State of California from May 2004 to May 2006.

Jake Mossawir attended Bellarmine College Preparatory for an unspecified period of time. Later, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, African American Studies, and Communications from the University of California, Davis. In 2013, they enrolled in Drexel University and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in 2015.
