Jonae Muhammad

Jonae Muhammad is a dedicated educator with extensive experience in teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) and English at the secondary level. Currently serving as a Secondary ESL/English Teacher at James Madison High School since September 2020 and an English Language Instructor at the Bilingual Education Institute since July 2014, Jonae has demonstrated proficiency in developing innovative lesson plans, differentiating instruction, and implementing effective classroom management systems. Previous roles include ESL Secondary Teacher at Lee High School and Writing Associate at the University of Houston Downtown. Jonae holds a Master's Degree in Rhetoric and Composition/Writing Studies from the University of Houston-Downtown, a TESOL Certification, and multiple teaching credentials from the Texas Education Agency.
