Terri Carter

Terri Carter, MBA, is an accomplished HR professional with extensive experience in strategic planning and management. Currently serving as Deputy Director of Strategy, Planning & Management at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation since July 2016, Carter leads transformational HR projects and change management initiatives while previously advancing through HRBP leadership roles within the organization. Prior experience includes serving as Director and HR Business Partner at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where strategic change and cultural transformation were prioritized, as well as managing talent development at HP. Early career contributions include leadership roles at Deloitte Consulting and Navigo Consulting & Coaching Inc., focusing on organizational transformations and integrated change strategies. Terri holds a Bachelor of Arts from Carleton University and an MBA from The University of British Columbia.
