Violaine Mitchell

Violaine Mitchell is an experienced professional in public health, currently serving as the Director of Immunization at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation since January 2012. Previously, Violaine held the position of Director for Health Funds and Partnerships in the Global Delivery Program. Before joining the foundation, Violaine was the Owner of Small Farm Canada from December 2003 to October 2020. Violaine earned an MSc in Tropical Public Health from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, completing the degree between 1985 and 1987.
