Caitlin Ciavarro

Caitlin Ciavarro has a diverse and extensive work experience in the medical research and pharmaceutical industry. Caitlin started their career as a Research Associate at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in 2002. In 2003, they joined Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics and held several positions, including Clinical Research Associate, Senior Clinical Research Associate, Clinical Trial Manager, Senior Clinical Trial Manager, and Associate Director - Senior Global Trial Manager. Caitlin then moved to GSK in 2015, where they worked as an Associate Director - Senior Global Trial Manager. In 2016, they joined Sanofi Genzyme as the Director - Project Lead, MS and Rare Diseases. Currently, they are the Head of Clinical Operations at the Bill & Melinda Gates Medical Research Institute, a role they have held since September 2021.
