Helene Madonick

Helene Madonick serves as a Board Member at the Bill & Melinda Gates Medical Research Institute since January 2018 and at Lyndra Therapeutics for 2023. Previously, Helene held multiple roles at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, including Interim Director of Gender Equality, where leadership focused on strategies to eliminate barriers for women and girls to achieve equality. Helene also served as Deputy General Counsel across various regional and global health divisions at Arnold & Porter from 1986 to 2007, ultimately becoming a Partner. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Law (JD) from Columbia University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Tufts University.
