Maryann has held various senior leadership roles in reputable pharmaceutical companies such as Bill & Melinda Gates Medical Research Institute, ACADIA Pharmaceuticals Inc., Merck Pharmaceuticals, and Shire Pharmaceuticals. In their most recent role as Sr. Director GCP Quality Assurance at the Bill & Melinda Gates Medical Research Institute, Maryann is responsible for ensuring the quality of clinical trials. Prior to that, they served as the Sr. Director R&D Quality Assurance at ACADIA Pharmaceuticals Inc. Maryann also has experience as the President of Sustainable Quality Assurance Consulting, LLC. Maryann has a deep understanding of clinical quality management and has successfully implemented quality improvement initiatives within Clinical Research. Maryann Livolsi obtained their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from Rutgers University - Camden, where they studied from 1982 to 1986. Following this, they pursued their Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree, specializing in Nursing Administration, at the University of Pennsylvania from 1987 to 1989.
