John Fitzgerald

Group Company Secretary and Operations Manager John holds the appointment of Group Company Secretary for the organisation. John is the Operations Manager for the Billbergia Group and his position integrates the multifaceted business. His role extends to Marketing where he heads up the Marketing and Sales area of the business. John has a career spanning 30 years in the building and construction industry which commenced in Europe and extended to the Middle East and Australia. He began his formal years in Ireland where he predominantly worked in the metal trade before undertaking civil engineering projects throughout Australia and finally into the residential housing market. John has managed large residential and construction projects both in Ireland and Australia, where has held a number of senior positions. He has a Diploma in Project Management from The University of New England and a Post Graduate in Environmental Engineering Management from The University of Technology, Sydney. He completed an MBA at Southern Cross University in 2003 and is a member of the Australian Institute of Project Management.
