Chelsea Briggs

Chelsea Briggs is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in broadcasting and entertainment. Currently serving as an On-Camera Host and Digital Reporter/Video Producer for Billboard since November 2016, Chelsea is responsible for producing daily news videos, overseeing the entire process from scriptwriting to final production. Previous roles include co-hosting the morning show at 97.1 AMP Radio in Los Angeles from February 2018 to April 2020, and founding and leading Hollywire as Entertainment Host, Writer, and Executive Producer until its sale in 2018. Early career experience includes positions at Katz Media Group, MTV Networks, and VH1, where Chelsea developed a strong foundation in production and radio sales. Chelsea holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism from Central Michigan University, earned in 2008.
