Nicholas Villani is an accomplished academic and design engineer with extensive experience in digital manufacturing and engineering education. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor and Industry Liaison at the Illinois Institute of Technology, Nicholas teaches and develops courses on various manufacturing technologies, maintaining active partnerships with industry leaders such as DMG MORI, Siemens, and Sandvik Coromant. As an Adjunct Faculty member at Elgin Community College, Nicholas has contributed to the curriculum development for the Industrial and Manufacturing Technology department. In a concurrent role as a Design Engineer at Billet Specialties, Nicholas oversees the creation and management of design files and conducts Finite Element Analysis studies. Nicholas holds a Master of Science in Industrial Technology and Operations and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Industrial Technology and Management from the Illinois Institute of Technology, along with an Associate's degree in Industrial Manufacturing Technology from Elgin Community College.
