Danilo Cardia

Danilo Cardia has extensive work experience in software engineering and leadership roles. Danilo is currently working as a Software Engineering Manager at Billhop AB, where they lead three engineering teams to build features that optimize cash flow for large companies. Their responsibilities include providing strategic direction, fostering innovation, collaborating with other departments, overseeing recruitment and professional development, ensuring technical excellence, and coaching agile principles.

Prior to their current role, Danilo worked as a Software Development Team Lead at Billhop AB, empowering their team to autonomously develop software and supporting their career growth. Danilo also worked as a Software Engineer at Viaplay, where they contributed to the expansion of the company into new countries and managed complex integrations.

Earlier in their career, Danilo held leadership positions at RTB House, where they led a Solutions Engineering team and supported their growth and delivery of high-quality software tools. Danilo also worked as a Senior Technical Solutions Engineer, delivering software solutions in Latin America.

Before joining RTB House, Danilo worked as a Senior Software Developer at accesso ShoWare, a Leader Developer at SHIFT INC, a Software Development Consultant at Agência Uakari, and a Software Development Coordinator and Senior Developer at Callix. Danilo also gained experience as a Software Developer at Linx and started their career as a Junior Software Programming Analyst at PLAYER and a Junior Software Developer at SubSeven Soluções em Informática.

Throughout their career, Danilo has worked with various technologies such as Node.js, Typescript, Python, Jenkins, Git, Gitlab CI, Redis, Postgres, Vue.js, Google BigQuery, ASP.NET, and more. Danilo has demonstrated expertise in agile methodologies, source code control, code reviews, testing, DevOps, and cloud architectures.

Danilo Cardia obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Centro Universitário Fundação Santo André, where they studied from 2010 to 2016. In 2015, they also took part in a language exchange program as a student at Stafford House International in London, UK, focusing on English Language and Literature. In addition to their formal education, Danilo has obtained several certifications.
