Cassidy Williams

Cassidy Williams has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Starting in 2010, Cassidy worked as the Head of Operations at Integrated Engineering LLC, where they managed warehouse operations, quality control, and a manufacturing facility. They also developed an inventory framework and management system and oversaw the supply chain.

From 2017 to 2021, Cassidy worked at Expedia Group in various data-related roles. As a Data Scientist in the CarRentals.com Global Analytics team, they implemented a Learning to Rank model to sort car search results. They were also involved in feature selection, engineering, and model hyperparameter tuning. In the Global Partnership team, Cassidy served as a Marketing Data Analyst, building models and leading commercial discussions. In the Supply Operations team, Cassidy worked as a Data Analyst, addressing data inaccuracy challenges due to manual input and outdated systems.

At Delivery Hero, Cassidy held several positions from 2021 to 2023. As a Senior Data Scientist/Tech Lead in the Quick Commerce operations data science team, they led a team of data scientists, worked on demand forecasting and optimization projects, and made hiring decisions. Cassidy then became a Manager and later a Senior Manager in the Data Science team, focusing on cross-functional teams, interview processes, and stakeholder engagement.

Most recently, Cassidy joined Staffbase as the Head of Data. They developed and executed the company's data strategy, built and led a global team, and implemented Agile processes for data product development.

Additionally, in 2023, Cassidy will also take on the role of Director of Decision Science at Billie.

Cassidy Williams earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Operations Management from the University of Utah in the years 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Weber State University, from 2011 to 2014. In 2016, they briefly attended Pforzheim University, focusing on Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management.
