Darrick Ong

Darrick Ong has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Darrick started their career as an intern at CMA CGM, where they worked in the logistics department and gained skills in container management and data analysis. Darrick also interned at Hai Sia Seafood, where they were involved in various projects, including the implementation of an ERP system and the remodeling of point-of-sales operations.

In 2019, Darrick took a leave of absence from school to work as a Product Consulting Intern at Tableau Software. During this time, they gained valuable experience in the software industry and developed skills in project management and self-directed learning.

Darrick's next internship was at Unilever, where they worked as a Procurement Intern. Darrick assisted in a spend analysis project and played a key role in coordinating data consolidation processes across six countries. Darrick also conducted data validation exercises to ensure data accuracy and quality.

Most recently, Darrick has been working at Billigence as a Business Intelligence Consultant. Darrick started as a Junior Business Intelligence Consultant in November 2020 and was quickly promoted to a senior role. Their responsibilities include providing business intelligence solutions and consulting services to clients.

Throughout their career, Darrick has demonstrated a strong ability to adapt to different environments and learn new skills. Their experiences have provided him with a solid foundation in data analysis, project management, and consulting.

Darrick Ong completed their O Levels at Anglo-Chinese School (Barker Road) from 2008 to 2011. Darrick then pursued their A Levels at Anglo-Chinese Junior College from 2012 to 2013. Following that, Darrick attended the National University of Singapore from 2016 to 2020, where they obtained their undergraduate degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management.

In addition to their formal education, Darrick has earned various certifications. Darrick obtained the Tableau Desktop Certified Associate certification in September 2019 and the Tableau Server Certified Associate certification in December 2019 from Tableau Software. In January 2021, they obtained the Alteryx Designer Core Certification from Alteryx, and in March 2023, they obtained both the Alteryx Designer Advanced Certification and the Server Administration certification from Alteryx. Darrick also holds certifications from other institutions such as Matillion, Workato, Trifacta, Snowflake, and Tableau.
