Maria Paz

Maria Paz has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Maria is currently working as a Senior Data Engineer at Billigence since June 2023. Prior to this role, they held the position of Data Engineer at Billigence from February 2022 to June 2023. Maria also worked as a Data Engineer at Billigence from July 2021 to January 2022.

Before joining Billigence, Maria worked as a Data Engineer at BiLD Analytics from April 2021 to January 2022. Maria also had a role as a Data Engineer Trainee at BiLD Academy from February 2021 to April 2021.

Maria has experience outside the data engineering field as well. Maria served as an Accommodation Manager at the 2021 ICF Junior & U23 Canoe Sprint World Championships, organized by Federação Portuguesa de Canoagem, from November 2020 to September 2021. Additionally, they worked as a Trainee Data Analyst at HI-Tech Plus from November 2020 to February 2021.

In 2019, Maria worked as a Graduate Research Fellow at ICNAS - Institute for Nuclear Sciences Applied to Health. Prior to that, they served as an Accommodation & Teams Manager at the ECA Canoe Polo European Championships 2019, organized by Federação Portuguesa de Canoagem, from February 2019 to September 2019.

Maria's earlier experience includes working as an Accommodation Helping Hand at the ICF Canoe Sprint & Paracanoe World Championships 2018, organized by Federação Portuguesa de Canoagem, in August 2018. Maria also worked as an Accommodation and Catering Volunteers Coordinator in the European Universities Games 2018 at Universidade de Coimbra from June 2018 to July 2018. Overall, Maria Paz has demonstrated versatility and a strong background in data engineering and event management throughout their career.

Maria Paz completed their education at Universidade de Coimbra from 2014 to 2019, where they obtained an Integrated Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering with a specialization in Clinical Informatics and Bioinformatics.
