George Kuriakose

George Kuriakose has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies and roles. George started their career at MultiTech as a Software Engineer in 1996 and worked there until 1999. George then moved on to work in consulting as a Programmer/Analyst from 2001 to 2002. In 2002, they joined Kirana Networks Inc as a Member Technical Staff before transitioning to iSofttech, a startup acquired by Sasken communications, where they served as an Engineering Manager from 2003 to 2005.

After their time with startups, George joined Motorola in 2005 as an Engineering Manager, responsible for 4G Wireless Mobility Management Entity (MME) test engineering activities. George led successful customer trials and managed testing teams. From 2011 to 2013, they worked at Yahoo! as a Group Manager - Engineering, leading multiple quality engineering groups in the Advertising Products Group and managing the convergence of two ad platforms.

In 2013, George joined Intuit as a Manager 2 - Development, where they focused on productivity tools development and quality engineering of Quickbooks Online Payments. George contributed to architectural decomposition and AWS migration of the Quickbooks platform. George also led the design and development of a Test Data platform that improved efficiency and resulted in significant cost savings.

Most recently, George has been working at Billtrust since 2018. George initially joined as a Manager in the Software Engineering, Quality and Test Automation division and was later promoted to Senior Manager and then Director in the same field. In their current role, they lead a high-performing team focused on building the next-generation Payments platform and Business Payment Network solution for customers. George is proficient in various technologies and frameworks, such as Angular, NodeJS, Docker, and AWS.

Overall, George Kuriakose has a strong background in software engineering, quality assurance, and test automation, and has made significant contributions to the development and improvement of various products and platforms throughout their career.

George Kuriakose obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. In 2013, they attended Scrum Alliance and obtained a Certified Scrum Master degree in Agile Project Management.
