Soma Bodonyi has extensive work experience in software development and engineering roles. Soma started their career as a Summer Intern at Michelin in 2000, 2001, and 2002. Soma then worked as a System Administrator/Desktop Support at Lónyay Utcai Református Gimnázium és Kollégium from 2002 to 2005. Soma joined IQSYS in 2007 as a Software Developer Trainee and later became a Junior Software Developer, working on 3-tier applications and internal systems. Soma also contributed to notable projects, including an integrated information system for the social care system of Budapest and a football pool software for the 2010 FIFA World Cup for Magyar Telekom employees. In 2010, they joined Stilcom as a Software Developer. At Dealogic, from 2011 to 2015, Soma worked as a Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer, where they played a lead role in migrating a large codebase, automating deployment processes, and introducing new technologies. Soma also worked on a conference and event management platform for investment banks. Currently, Soma is employed as a Senior Backend Developer at BIMobject since 2019.
Soma Bodonyi completed their MSc in Business Information Systems from Corvinus University of Budapest, from 2004 to 2009. In addition to their degree, they obtained several certifications from Microsoft. In September 2014, they received the certification for "70-480: Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3." Two years later, in September 2016, they obtained the certification for "70-486: Developing ASP.NET MVC Web Applications." Most recently, in April 2021, they acquired the certification for "AZ-204: Developing Solutions for Microsoft Azure."
