Jürgen Ukkivi

Jürgen Ukkivi has a strong background in technology and software engineering. Jürgen is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at BlurBay since January 2022, where they are responsible for overseeing technological advancements. Prior to this, they held the same position at DrHouse starting from October 2021.

Jürgen co-founded and worked as the Chief Technology Officer at North Coast Code™️ from May 2020. Additionally, they served as the CTO at Binderr during the same period.

Jürgen's earlier experiences include working as a Software Engineer at Brighter AB (publ) from March 2019 to May 2020. Jürgen was involved in developing microservices in AWS using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Nodejs, React, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Postgres, and Jenkins. Jürgen had direct communication with customers, exchanging ideas and giving suggestions.

Before that, they served as a Software Engineer at EasyPark Group from July 2015 to March 2019. In this role, they developed microservices in AWS using Java, Spring Boot, Nodejs, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Postgres. Jürgen was fully responsible for several microservices and worked in an environment with frequent releases and continuous deployment.

Jürgen began their career with an internship as a Java developer at Swedbank from June 2014 to September 2014. During this time, they worked as part of a team, following the Scrum development process and receiving mentorship from senior developers.

Jürgen Ukkivi attained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology between 2009 and 2013. Jürgen further pursued a Master's degree in Informatics from the same institution, graduating between 2013 and 2015.
