Umair M. Imam is currently the Head of Data Science, Data Warehouse, and Artificial Intelligence at Ruter As. Umair is also the Founder of Bineric AI and an Assistant Professor at OsloMet – Oslo Metropolitan University. With a strong background in software architecture and frameworks, Umair has held notable positions such as CTO and Co Founder at Tipio, Architect at Skatteetaten, and Lead Solution Architect at Norges Bank Investment Management. Umair's experience also includes roles as a Senior Software Engineer at TeliaSonera Norge and a Software Analyst/Business Intelligence Professional at SeaNet Maritime Communications AB. Umair holds a Master's degree in Software Engineering of Distributed Systems from KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
