Dan Miller is an experienced music educator and instructor currently teaching Woodwinds Methods classes at Syracuse University College of Visual and Performing Arts and serving as an adjunct instructor of saxophone at SUNY Broome Community College and Binghamton University. With a career spanning over three decades, Dan holds a significant role as the band director for the American Music Abroad, conducting performances across Europe, and as the music caption head for the Vestal High School Marching Band, which achieved multiple state championships. Dan's extensive experience includes directing high school band, choir, and jazz ensembles in the Spencer-Van Etten School District, along with previous teaching positions at Andes Central Schools. Dan earned a Master's degree in Music Education from Ithaca College and a Bachelor's degree in Music Education with Performance Honors from Syracuse University.
