David Schuster

David Schuster currently serves as the Director of Technology Services at Binghamton University, a position held since September 2016, and has also taken on several substantial roles within the library's technology and digital strategies. Prior to Binghamton University, David Schuster was the Director of Library Information Technology at Texas Woman's University from July 2012 to September 2016 and served as President/Chair of the Frisco Public Library Foundation from January 2005 to October 2012, focusing on community support through initiatives like the Frisco Storytelling Festival. Additional experience includes roles as Library Technology Coordinator for Plano Independent School District and as a Library Consultant for multiple firms, such as Dynix and SirsiDynix. David Schuster holds a Master's in Business Administration and Management, as well as a Master's in Informational Services, and has pursued several leadership programs in library sciences.
