John MacDonald

John MacDonald currently serves as a DesignOps Manager at Cisco, focusing on enhancing the productivity of design teams and meeting business needs. With experience as an Adjunct Professor at Binghamton University since 2013, MacDonald teaches various courses related to Management Information Systems. Previously, a significant tenure at IBM spanned over two decades, where MacDonald held multiple roles in Design Operations, Integrated Services Management, and Service Management, developing efficiencies and improving service delivery. Early career roles included application development and network administration at Resource Associates, as well as application programming leadership at Bridgeware Systems, Inc. and retail management at Waldenbooks. MacDonald holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics, both from the State University of New York at Binghamton.
