Alejandro Gómez Rivera is a skilled professional with significant experience in engineering and business development. As Co-Founder of binni since 2019, Alejandro contributes to innovative solutions in the industry. Previously, Alejandro worked as a Tunnel/TBM Engineer for Impregilo | Healy | Parsons JV from 2013 to 2017, focusing on the design and construction of the Anacostia River Tunnel in Washington, D.C. During time at Carnegie Mellon University from 2012 to 2013, Alejandro co-founded WattLogix, participated in building energy efficiency research, and developed an energy monitoring system for IBM Smarter Infrastructure Lab. Early career experience includes roles at ETERNA S.A. as Technical Assistant to the General Manager and Bidding and Business Development Coordinator, working on infrastructure projects for various government and private entities. Alejandro holds a Master of Science in Advanced Infrastructure Systems from Carnegie Mellon University, a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Northeastern University, and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Universidad Latina de Costa Rica.
