Oliver Schacht

Oliver Schacht serves as the Managing Director and CEO of Life Science Nord Management GmbH since September 2024, overseeing the life science cluster in Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. With extensive experience in the biotechnology sector, Oliver has held prominent roles such as President of BIO Deutschland e. V. and Co-Founder of Green Carbon Energy Corp. Previous positions include Executive VP Corporate Development and CEO of OpGen, Inc., and Managing Director of Curetis N. V. Oliver's leadership also extends to international organizations as Chairman of the International Council of Biotechnology Associations and various supervisory board roles. Educational achievements include a PhD and MPhil from the University of Cambridge, enhancing expertise in management and strategic alliances within the biotech field.
